My name is Monique Sinclair. I’m a mom of two (soon to be three), a wife, a creative professional (which encompasses many things), and most of all, a believer in Jesus Christ. (If you want to get technical, I am non-denominational but believe in the gifts and baptism of the Holy Spirit.)
I work for an award-winning, published photographer as my day job, but in my spare time, I do a lot of other creative, artsy things. I love coffee, comfy pajamas, playing outside with my kids, cooking, chocolate, and various Asian desserts.
In this blog, I’ll be talking about motherhood, food, keto and low carb ways of eating, and any lifestyle products I find useful.
I decided to blog about all the things important to my lifestyle as a young working mom because I depended so much on good reviews for services and products when I had my first child. I had a lot of trying and painful experiences when I decided to grow my family, and I think my insight might help you, too.
Why is this blog different? Well, maybe it isn’t so different from any other mom blog, but I’d like to think it is. Well, I’ve lost 40 to 60 pounds multiple times after miscarriage, having kids, and discovering a pituitary microadenoma (aka a type of benign brain tumor). I’ve been overweight with minor health issues my whole life, and I think my experiences of what works and what doesn’t have been helpful to others. I also had babies who didn’t sleep and struggled to eat. I couldn’t produce enough breastmilk. I struggled to find energy to work. But I’ve had so many breakthroughs, and I want to share them. Maybe you’re a desperate young mom like I was, just looking for some hope. Maybe my advice can offer you light at the end of the tunnel.
So for all the women out there struggling just to get by… This one’s for you.
